QUEEN’S PARK FC is delighted to confirm Zebedee Lawson has joined the club on a season-long loan from Rangers.
The dynamic winger moved to Glasgow from Brighton and Hove Albion last year and made two first-team appearances last season – including one alongside fellow Spiders loanee Aiden McCallion.
The Rangers pair now re-unite under Sean Crighton at The city Stadium for the upcoming season in the William Hill Championship, with both also eligible for Saturday’s Premier Sports Cup clash with Queen of the South.
The first-team manager said: “Zeb is a player we are excited to bring to Queen’s Park – Rangers have high hopes for him.
“Zeb will obviously know Lewis Stewart and Aiden McCallion who have already come in and been fantastic additions to the squad, and I am sure he will be looking to make a big impact himself.
“It’s an experience for him coming up from Brighton to Rangers and now to Queen’s Park where he’ll have that exposiure to first-team football and like anyone in the squad he’ll have to fight to get in the team.
He’s another player we have added who can get fans off their seat and excited like young Lewis. Both he and Aiden have come in and done really well in their first week with us and we hope Zeb can do the same.
Zeb played against the Spiders in last season’s Scottish Youth Cup – a match Queen’s Park triumphed in on penalty kicks after a scoreless draw.
However he was on target plenty in other games and crowned the Gers’ under-19s top scorer for their 2025-26 season at CAS Elite level.
Now, he faces a season in the William Hill Championship after completing his loan and Zeb trained with his new team-mates at Lochinch today (Monday).
His arrival is on regular loan terms for the season, separate from the co-operation agreement recently announced between the clubs.
The 17-year-old added: “I’ve been impressed with the training ground. I didn’t really know what to expect.
“It was a good first session, there was good quality and it was good to get integrated with the team and used to the boys and style of play. It’s good to have Lewis and Aiden and people that you know to get integrated a little bit faster.
“I’m someone who likes to get on the ball to make things happen and win games. It’s a new experience here and a new challenge – but I’m always ready for a challenge.
“The manager and staff have been really transparent and open about how they see my effect in the team and what could help me develop and my role here.
“I’m looking forward to my first game now and making it a strong debut – and maybe even contribute to some goals too!”
