Get Close to Scotland's Double Header at Bar 1867
THE TARTAN ARMY may have been locked out of Scotland’s latest win over Belarus in Hungary – but they’re very welcome in Bar 1867 when the national team returns to Hampden.
Steve Clarke’s squad used the base at The city Stadium for pre-match training ahead of a draw with Denmark in Copenhagen and a win over Belarus in the re-located qualifier earlier this month.
The squad will be back on home soil for the next two internationals – and Queen’s Park’s home will once again host their preparation and build-up.
Of course, come matchday The city Stadium can also be part of every fans’ preparation and build-up too with Bar 1867 open ahead of both games in October – with Greece and Belarus.
The venue overlooks the pitch used by the Spiders in the William Hill Championship that doubles as the international training field for Scott McTominay, Andy Robertson, Lennon Miller and John McGinn.
The Tartan Army can enjoy a pre-match drink on-site as close to kick-off as possible with just a two-minute walk to the turnstiles at Hampden.
Bar 1867 is situated within the JB McAlpine Pavilion – the venue nearest to the National Stadium – and will be open to football fans at 5pm before the 7.45pm kick-off against Greece on October 9, and then 2pm before the 5pm start with Belarus the following Sunday.
One of the benefits of being a Queen’s Park FC member or season ticket holder, is priority access to these busy events and supporters wishing to take advantage of this early offer can still call the office on 0141 632 1275 to book, or email hospitality@queensparkfc.co.uk, to beat the public sale.
