Scottish Cup third round Fixture amendment – Linlithgow Rose v Queen’s Park

QUEEN’S PARK FC can now confirm the date for our third round tie in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup, at Linlithgow Rose, has changed.

The tie, announced on Sunday, was the last to be paired and drawn by former Rangers, Middlesbrough and Hibs midfielder Kevin Thomson.

All third round games are scheduled to take place on the weekend of November 29 and our trip to West Lothian will now be screened by BBC Scotland resulting in a move to Friday, November 28.

The match will now have a 7.45pm kick off at the Lowland League side’s Prestonfield home ground.

Another consequence of the selection means Sean Crighton and the Spiders will be on live national TV three weeks in a row – following our home match with Ross County on November 21 and our trip to Greenock in the William Hill Championship moved to December 5.
