QUEEN’S PARK FC is delighted to announce Sean Crighton has signed a two-year contract extension as first-team manager.
Sean took over the duties as head coach in May 2025 after leading Queen’s Park B team to the SPFL Reserve League title.
Last weekend he helped secure the club’s status in the William Hill Championship for a fifth consecutive year, and has now agreed to extend his spell in charge of the Spiders to build on a successful first season in charge.
Sean said: “It has been in the works for a little while but we wanted to guarantee safety in the division first and foremost.
“Now we have, I’m really pleased to get the deal done and aiming to finish our season on a high in our two remaining games.
“It has been an amazing year – I wanted to bring a family feel to the club and I think that’s what we have achieved with a real togetherness around the club, squad and staff.
“It has been a privilege to manage Queen’s Park and now, for me, it’s about building on what we have done in our first year and taking it forward.”
Interim chairman Alistair Marr added: “Everyone at Queen’s Park has been delighted with the progress of the team under Sean’s leadership this season.
“We are equally delighted to have agreed this extension to his contract, which will allow him to build on the work already in place and adds to our preparations, as a club, for season 2026-27 in the William Hill Championship.”
