Spiders Sign Jai Quitongo

Queen’s Park can today confirm the signing of 23-year-old forward Jai Quitongo.

The versatile forward most recently had a brief spell at Dumbarton, and previously played
with Machine Sazi Tabriz in the Persian Gulf Pro League. Jai also has amassed nearly 50
appearances in the Scottish Championship with Morton and Partick Thistle. He comes from
a family with strong football connections. His father Jose played with a number of Scottish
clubs, most notably Heart of Midlothian, and his brother Rico currently plays full back for
Dumbarton.

Head Coach Ray McKinnon said: “I’m delighted to have been able to bring Jai in. He brings
real experience as well as adding great pace to the squad going forward. We are obviously
trying to build the best squad that we can and Jai’s addition really strengthens the squad
and competition for places within it.”

The media team will be arranging an interview with our newest recruit, so look out for that
coming early next week.

Welcome to Queen’s Park, Jai!
