Former fans’ favourite Salim Kouider-Aïssa has re-signed for the club on loan from Livingston until the end of the 2020/21 season.
The talented 24-year-old forward has had limited first team opportunities at Livingston and played on loan at Partick Thistle during the first half of the season.
Head Coach Ray McKinnon said “I’m delighted to have been able to bring Salim back to the club on loan. We’re going in to a crucial stage of the season and with us likely to be playing twice a week, there’s a real need to ensure we have strength and depth in the squad.
“Salim knows the club well and we know him so we’re hopeful that he can come in, hit the ground running, get game time and get us goals.”
Kouider-Aïssa made 36 appearances in his previous spell at Hampden, notching an impressive 17 goals for the Spiders.
Commenting on his return the striker said: “It’s excellent to be back at the club and I’m very much looking forward to getting going. I’m here to play as much as I can and I hope I can contribute with as many goals as possible between now and the end of the season.”
The club would like to thank Livingston FC for their help in making this loan possible.
Wellcome back Salim!
