After the bounce games were over yesterday Lesser Hampden played host to two events with the first being the Players’ Sponsors from last season and then the long-awaited Player of the Year Awards.
Last season’s sponsors met with the first team squad as well as recently appointed Head Coach Robin Veldman, subject to visa requirements, and Director of Football Marijn Beuker and were handed a match-worn autographed shirt from the player they sponsored and the thanks of the club for their backing.
Robin and Marijn spoke with the sponsors in the upstairs lounge before everyone heading downstairs for the Queen’s Park Committee and Queen’s Park Supporters Association Awards Ceremony that was chaired in his own unique style by Keith McAllister.
