It's up the A9 to Perth for Queen's Park as they take on St Johnstone in SWLP2 today at Riverside Stadium
After last week’s defeat by Boroughmuir Thistle, Queen’s are looking to get off the foot of the table in today’s SWPL2 game against St Johnstone.
This will be a tall order as the Perth side have already beaten the Spiders twice this season so far.
Currently St Johnstone sit fifth in SWPL2, whereas we are rooted at the bottom of the table.
League form coming into the game:
Queen’s Park: WLDLL
St Johnstone: LLDWW
Coach Barry Rodgers thoughts before the game: “It’s been an up and down week with Covid issues affecting training. But the players have worked hard and pulled together. The squad are feeling good. ”
We know an away trip to St Johnstone will be a difficult match. They are a well organised team, with good quality players. So it will be a good challenge for us and another step in our progress and development.”
It’s going to be another experience, another learning for us to find out about ourselves and how we can keep moving forward. It’s also a game the players are up for. They are keen and excited the match. Hopefully it will be a positive one for ourselves.”
