Queen’s Park defender Will Tizzard moved to Scotland from England last summer and Caledonia was calling the former Southampton player again as his visited Baillieston to welcome Caledonia Primary School as the club’s latest ‘Tickets for Schools’ partners.
As well as providing the Match Tickets for next Tuesday’s cinch Championship game at Hampden with Arbroath to the schoolchildren Will also handed over Queen’s Park scarves and t-shirts.
The children will be taken to and from The National Stadium by club business partners McDades Business Coaches and are set to give Will a special cheer against the Red Lichties after he took part in a Question-and-Answer session with them.
Will said: “I am looking forward to seeing all the children again on Tuesday night. They put me on the spot with their questions and I was delighted with the enthusiasm they showed for Queen’s Park.
“The ‘Tickets for Schools’ programme is a great idea and the players enjoy supporting it.”
