The club are aware of an article in the press yesterday which some supporters have taken as meaning Tony Quinn has left the club – we are happy to clarify that is not the case.

Tony has not been around the training ground recently for several reasons.  He is spending time establishing his own business – anyone who is self-employed knows how time consuming this can be!  The reserve side he was helping coach has not been playing due to Covid restrictions and the limitations on numbers of personnel able to be on the training pitch means there is not currently a role for Tony with the first team squad.

When Covid restrictions are relaxed and life returns closer to normal, the club hope there will be a role for Tony to continue his long and valued contribution to Queen’s Park.
