Update on Bar 1867: Facilities, Music and Queen’s Park Nostalgia

Queen's Park are delighted to advise that the match day experience the club offers in Bar 1867, which sits within the JB McAlpine Building in The city Stadium, continues to grow positively.

For the next home men’s first team game (against Inverness Caledonian Thistle on December 9) Sky Sports channels showing live football have been added to the channels available within Bar 1867. We know that adding live football before and after a Queen’s Park game has been requested by a good number of supporters and we are pleased that this is now in place.

We are also pleased to say that for the Inverness game, and for the two other men’s first team home matches in December (Dundee United on December 22 and Airdrieonians on December 30) there will be live music with local singer/songwriter Matthew Gibb performing a set before kick-off.

To mark both the upgrade in TV offerings within Bar 1867 and the live music offerings the first 50 fans entering Bar 1867 for these games will be offered a free match day pie.

Also, the club has been working away behind the scenes recently to appropriately furnish Bar 1867 with items that showcase the Spiders long and wonderful history as well as impact on the game globally and installation work will commence shortly.
