With our home Premier Sports Cup ties now passed, attention turns to our exciting new league campaign ahead.
Under normal conditions, season ticket sales would have commenced by now. The regulations to admit spectators into Firhill Stadium in July meant both ourselves and our Partick Thistle hosts had to set up operational and ticketing arrangements to meet local licensing requirements.
With the loosening of Covid restrictions this week, and further relaxations expected on 9 August, clubs now can admit more spectators into stadia with fans being allowed to sit more closely together.
These changes mean both Partick Thistle and ourselves must re-configure procedures and ticketing systems to maximise the number of spectators who can access Firhill and for the matchday experience to be closer to normal.
The office staff are busy making these changes and a range of season tickets will be available to buy in plenty of time for our first home league game with Cove Rangers on Saturday 7 August. An announcement on the commencement of sales will be made as soon as possible.
