QUEEN’S PARK FC is delighted to welcome midfielder Scott Martin to the club, on loan until the end of the season.
Scott joins Sean Crighton’s first-team squad from Partick Thistle, and will be available for selection in this weekend’s William Hill Championship fixture with Greenock Morton.
The Spiders’ head coach said: “I’m really pleased we have managed to get this deal over the line. It is one we have been working on for a number of weeks.
“Scott brings an added presence to our midfield options and brings top-flight experience to the squad.
“He is a competitor and someone I am confident will fit in with the group I have built here as we move forward with full focus on our league campaign.
“Our thanks go to Partick Thistle for working with us on this loan and we look forward to working with Scott for the remainder of the season.”
Scott, 28, began his professional career at Hibs before moving to Hamilton Academical in 2018. From there he amassed 195 appearances in the Scottish Premiership and Championship.
He moved to Firhill in the January transfer window of season 2024-25 but suffered a knee injury playing for the Jags against Queen’s Park last March.
His rehabilitation has seen Martin return to the fold under Mark Wilson and Alex Rae playing mostly from the bench since his return in November, with his most recent appearance coming in Thistle’s 3-2 win away at Elgin City in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup earlier this month.
