Women’s Squad update

Queen’s Park would like to place on record our thanks to every player who played for the club during the 2022/2023 season for their time, effort and application while representing the Spiders. As we build towards the new ScottishPower SWPL2 season, the club can provide an update on the playing squad.

Players leaving the club:

Abbi McDonald
Abbi joined the club at the start of the 21/22 season from Glasgow Women, making her Queen’s debut against Rangers. During 22/23, Abbi played 27 times for the Spiders, scoring 2 goals.

Carla Todd
Carla joined the Spiders in March 2023, scoring with her first touch in her debut against Stirling University and went on to play a further 7 times for the club.

Kyla MacKinnon
Kyla signed for the club at the start of the season. Kyla made her Spiders debut against East Fife in the Sky Sports Cup before joining Greenock Morton on loan in January.

Lauren Ray
Lauren has departed the club to focus on opportunities outside of football. Lauren first signed for the Spider in 2015 going on to play for the club for 7 seasons. During 22/23, Lauren appeared 7 times, scoring 1 goal.

Yasmin Boyce
Yasmin joined from Stirling University and leaves the club after 1 season, making 21 appearances for the Spiders.

The club thank the players departing the club for the efforts while at the club and they move on with our best wishes for the future.
